The Oregon Hall of Fame was created to awards specific individuals that have made an impact on the sport of Bodybuilding, Fitness, and Figure in the state of Oregon. This award of recognition symbolizes that hard work, dedication, and committment to promote the sport and lifestyle in a positive way both in and out of the state of Oregon.

Each year a new inductee will be awarded into the NPC Oregon Hall of Fame and will be presented at a feature competition in Oregon. This award will be presented with the intention for both competitors and fans in the audience to get a true history and background of the sport in Oregon.

A very special award was presented to former Oregon NPC judge and competitor, Max Pope.  He was the first recepient with the honor to be inducted into the Oregon NPC Hall of Fame by Larry Wilcox of Max Muscle and further recognized by Ron Smith with a personal award and a special NPC jacket.

Max has done everything in this sport, from Promoting, Judging, Training and competing his way to a Master National Championship in 1998.

He has encouraged and mentored many up and coming athletes, and all without asking for compensation. He is truly a legend for those in the sport in the state of Oregon.
